This afternoon, Horizon held it's first STEM Club. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Today's challenge was who can make the tallest tower out of spaghetti. Each group was given a bundle of spaghetti, 1 meter of tape, 1 meter of string and some blu tac. The students had to make a plan of their tower before building it. The only hint given to the students was that triangles are the strongest shape!
