Today 2B started using Flexible Learning in the classroom. Flexible Learning is a educational concept where students are given choice about when, where and how they learn. Students can choose anywhere within the classroom to complete their work and makes collaborating with other students easier. Flexible Learning makes students take ownership of their learning as they are responsible as to where to sit to complete their best work. 2B have added a new table and cushions to give the students more choice about where to learn.
2B's Flexible Learning Expectations are:
1. I will do my best work;
2. I will choose a spot that helps me learn best;
3. I will treat all furniture and equipment with respect;
4.I will leave the area tidy and put all the equipment away; and
5. I understand that if I do not make good choices I will be asked to move.
The students loved completing English and Maths activities today in their new flexible learning environment.
