2B Creates Pumpkin Artworks Inspired by Yayoi Kusama

This week 2B learnt about the famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The students looked at her different artworks and discussed the colours and patterns Yayoi uses in her artworks. 2B started creating their own pumpkin artworks by looking at photos of pumpkins and sketching them. Then the students chose their favourite sketch to draw on a coloured piece of paper. Next 2B painted dots on their pumpkins, trying to make  patterns of big, medium and small dots.  Soon  2B will be creating the background and we can't wait to show you our artworks when they are finished!
