Yesterday in 2B, the students went to the library and were introduced to the new books in the library. They learnt about some of the different series we now have the in the library, that are aimed at new English readers. Each student had to choose a chapter book to keep and read in the classroom.......
This morning.........
Ms Aya and I came into the classroom to find the students had started to read their new chapter books after they had unpacked. It was such a special moment for us to see 2B students sitting, reading their chapter books, just because they wanted to keep reading! Even after Ms Aya and I asked the students to pack their books away to start homeroom, they didn't want to!
