2B learnt about the famous artist Piet Mondrian in Art class today. The painter from the Netherlands is famous for his abstract art. This means that his artworks do no show objects or people but instead use colours and shapes. Using their Maths knowledge, the students created their artworks using squares and rectangles and coloured them using the primary colours. The students then put on black stripes of paper for added effect!
