This week Grade 2 students have been learning to write stories. The students have been learning how to write orientations which are the first part of a story that introduces where the story is and who is in the story. 2A wrote orientations to go with the following picture:
The students were challenged to use interesting words in their sentences and to use a thesaurus. Here are some of the fantastic orientations that 2A wrote today:
Once upon a time there was an old big house. The old big house was flying in the sky, A soft teddy bear lived in the big old house. The soft teddy bear's name was Pim Kim. Pim Kim was so cute.
