This week in English class, Grade 2 Global students have been learning how to add 'ing' to words and how to write sentences in the present tense. The present tense is describing what is happening right now. This morning 2B Global English students were given 3 minutes to write as many sentences as they could to describe what people or animals were doing in the picture using present tense. Then after three minutes the students changed to a different picture and wrote for another three minutes! The students found they used lots of sentences using words that were spelt with ing!
