This week in Art, 2A learnt different drawing techniques to create an artwork. The students learnt how to create dark and light lines as well as shading to make different effects with their pencil. First the students had to practice the different techniques and then were given only 6 minutes to draw one item from their pencil case using dark and light lines and shading! 2A students then studied photos of owls before drawing their own, creating an artwork of an owl using only lead pencil!
