In Grade 2 Primary English this term, we discussed what good writers do. Here are our ideas:
What do good writers do?
- Sound out words.
- Use punctuation.
- Try to use new or different words.
- Think about the readers and make them feel an emotion.
- Add interesting detail such as adjectives, verbs, similes and metaphors.
- Re-read their writing and fix up their mistakes.
- Think about what they want to write and talk about their ideas with someone else.
