Learning Skills for Inquiry Learning Month
This week 2B have been learning important social skills to help them during the upcoming Inquiry Learning month. 2B learnt what is means to work as a team and what happens when students do not work together through completing a series of challenges. The challenges the students completed were:
- Trying to pass a hoop around the circle whilst holding hands;
- The boys and girls trying to get to the opposite side of the classroom in a straight line ; and
- Trying to stand up without using hands and being connected to someone else!
2B also learnt about conflict resolution and what to do if you have a disagreement when working in a group. The students learnt to talk about the problem using kind words, think of different ideas and to seek a teacher's help if they still can't find a solution to their problem.
2B are very excited to use these skills when completing Inquiry Learning in June!
